Rotary Club of Guelph South

At the Rotary Club of Guelph South, we unite leaders from all continents, cultures, and occupations to exchange ideas and take action in communities around the world.

Third Annual Volunteer Appreciation Brunch

This is an annual event to recognize 100 of the tireless volunteers within 10 organizations throughout Wellington County, who give so much of themselves and expect so very little in return.

In addition, the Rotary Club of Guelph South will be making donations to each of the selected organizations as a ‘thank you’ for everything that they give to those in need. At the 2017 event, $10,000 was distributed among the 10 volunteer organizations.

Wyndham House

For the last 40 years, Wyndham House has been synonymous with serving homeless youth. While the pathways into homelessness are complex, a way off the streets is clear. Wyndham House provides youth with housing and educational alternatives, social supports and programming that supports a successful transition into adulthood.

Michael House

Michael House’s mission is to provide shelter and support to pregnant and parenting women in our community. We offer a caring home and provide for the emotional, physical and spiritual needs of women in need during pregnancy, childbirth and early parenthood.

Puslinch Volunteer Fire Department

For more than 45 years, the Puslinch Fire and Rescue Service have strived to adapt to and change as risks, threats, and challenges occur in the community. However, our greatest asset in carrying out the Puslinch Fire and Rescue Service mission is our team of hardworking professionals dedicated to the delivery of quality fire prevention, public education, and suppression services.

Lakeside Hope House

Lakeside Hope House operates and advocates on the belief that poverty, food insecurity, inequality, health and community are all interconnected. We offer services and programs that challenge the stigmas surrounding poverty and allow our clients to maintain their dignity and choice, while simultaneously providing them with tactile skills developed in a community environment; it is not about a hand-out but rather offering people a hand-up, creating long-term skills that facilitate self-sufficiency.

Family Counselling and Support Services of Guelph-Wellington

Family Counselling and Support Service for Guelph-Wellington works collaboratively with the community by providing specialized well-being resources in Guelph Wellington and surrounding areas. We continue to be an integral part of the community and provides support services to a growing number of individuals, families, and children.

Guelph Block Parents

Guelph Block Parents provides a network of safe homes/businesses for children/youth & adults/seniors to approach when in distress.

Onward Willow Neighbourhood Group

Onward Willow is a community working together to help keep our neighbourhood safe, our children nourished and nurtured, families strengthened and individuals empowered. We support community members located in the  Guelph neighbourhood of Speedvale Avenue to Paisley Road and Edinburgh Road to the Hanlon Parkway.

Better Beginnings Better Futures

The Better Beginnings, Better Futures model is designed to prevent young children in low income, high risk neighbourhoods from experiencing poor developmental outcomes, which then require expensive health, education and social services.

Guelph Independent Living Centre

Guelph Independent Living provides services and supports to persons with a physical disability and older adults in the City of Guelph, supporting their choice to live in the home of their choice in the community.

Guelph Wish Fund For Children

The Guelph Wish Fund for Children provides wishes and support to children under the age of 19, residing in Guelph or Wellington County, who have serious illnesses, severe handicaps, or who have been critically injured.
